(Summary description)We know that acrylonitrile (AN) is one of the main polymerized monomers for the production of nitrile rubber gloves and other polymer materials. The quality of acrylonitrile directly affects the performance of subsequent processed products. Among them, the content of oxazole in acrylonitrile is the most The key point is that it not only affects the color and storage stability of acrylonitrile, but also affects the color of the synthesized polymer material. Related test data show that the oxazole content of acrylonitrile exceeding 75mg/kg may cause some chemical reactions of acrylonitrile. That is to say, if the content of acrylonitrile oxazole in the gloves exceeds the standard, yellowing will occur. One is that the color of the finished product is defective, and the other is that the color will change after storage for a period of time.

How to analyze the content of oxazole in acrylonitrile and what methods are available, the most common methods are chemical, spectroscopy and chromatography, but the most effective method is to use the gas-mass (GC-MS) experimental method. In this experiment, a capillary column that is more suitable for the analysis of trace oxazole and other impurities in acrylonitrile was screened. The oxazole was determined by a gas-mass (GC-MS) combined instrument and verified by a chemical method. The effective carbon number was used. The mass correction factor of oxazole was calculated by the method, and the internal standard method was used for quantification. This method has been applied in the technical issuance of glove manufacturers and petrochemical companies to reduce the content of oxazole in acrylonitrile, and has successfully solved the quality problem of yellowing of acrylonitrile polymer products-butyronitrile and acrylic, with satisfactory results.
This method has been applied in the study of the cause of yellowing of butyronitrile in a domestic company. After analysis, the oxazole content in the raw material acrylonitrile is relatively high, about 0.03%~0.12%. According to the analysis data, the company has carried out the refining process for the production of acrylonitrile. After the transformation, the oxazole content in acrylonitrile was reduced to less than 0.007%, and the color of acrylonitrile was reduced from 45 to 48 to less than 20. After the transformation of the acrylonitrile refining process, the color of acrylonitrile polymer acrylic fiber was reduced from 0.24 to 0.27 was reduced to 0.10~0.11, which satisfactorily solved the quality problem of acrylic fiber yellowing, and the effect was good.
In summary, there are different proportions of oxazole in the acrylonitrile material used to make gloves. The higher the content, the more it can affect the performance and color of the final product. So how to control the content of oxazole is very important.
